Student Enrollment / Admission Criteria

New student admissions to the Road Transportation / Master Program are based on the criteria established at the University of Prishtina level, regulated by the UP Statute. Admission quotas, criteria, and procedures for registration and appeals are presented in a public call, following the decision of the UP Senate. Public announcements are published on the official websites of the University of Prishtina and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The UP Statute and the Study Regulations define the general requirements for admission, which are uniformly applied to all candidates. Specific program requirements are additionally defined through relevant regulations that are publicly accessible on the official websites of the University and the Faculty.

Student selection for enrollment in the study programs is based on two main criteria:

  • Previous academic achievements according to the bachelor grade point average
  • Results from the admission exam

The minimum requirement for the admission exam is 40%.

The content of the admission exam primarily includes professional courses of the program and English language proficiency (in line with recommendations from international experts).

Admission requirements for Master studies are based on Article 99 of the UP Statute.

Candidates eligible to apply for Master studies include:

  • Those who have completed scientific bachelor studies or equivalent studies outside Kosovo
  • Candidates who have completed four- or five-year higher education studies
