The purpose of the Thermoenergetics and Renewable Energy Master Program is to provide advanced knowledge to students in the field of thermoenergetics and renewable energy systems, so that they are able to plan and manage advanced thermotechnical systems, to design efficient energy systems, integrated with modern systems that support the economy towards the transition to a low-carbon economy, make the design and implementation of energy production systems from alternative sources, with a focus on renewable sources, evaluate the possibilities of penetration of renewable resources in the country's energy system and thus actively support the transition of society towards a society that meets its own needs through environmentally friendly technological systems, stable and sustainable in terms of resources, which the operation of such systems is based.

Students who get a Master's degree in the field of Thermoenergetics and Renewable Energy can be proven in different functions depending on the institution where they practice their activity, including developing advanced thermoenergetic systems, designing and implementing systems that are based on sustainable energy, efficient control and optimization of the operation of such systems, modernization of existing systems in the sense of improving efficiency and operation in line with environmental protection norms, maintenance, renovation and ensuring sustainable and acceptable work in terms of socio-economic norms.

The Master's level course consists of compulsory courses and elective courses, which have a certain number of ECTS credits. The studies are organized in a way that enables students to gain the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for their inclusion as easily as possible in this field.

The curricula are summarized from the best practices of several regional and European Universities as well as the long experience of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Pristina "Hasan Prishtina".
